**NEW**The CDF invites CARICOM Nationals to participate in the CARICOM Development Fund Logo Competition. This competition is part of the promotional activities towards heightening understanding of the institution and its work and is part of the process of engaging the public. The purpose of the event is to select an appropriate logo for the CDF.
The CSME Unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to advise that the Third Annual National Primary Schools' CSME Poster Painting Competition is scheduled for the period Wednesday 15th October to Friday 7thNovember, 2008.
This is a team-based competition which is open to all Fourth Form Secondary School students and consists of Preliminary, Quarter-final, Semi-final and Final rounds. Each team comprises of four students.
For the purpose of this Treaty the States specified in sub-paragraphs 1 (b), (c), (g), (h), (m) and (n) of Article 3 shall be more developed countries and the remainder listed in the said paragraph shall be less developed countries.

I must commend the CSME Secretariat, for proposing these region-wide seminars, as they provide a forum in which Trade Unions, Government Agencies and the Private Sector can interface and become more sensitized on the role and benefits of the CARICOM Single Market and Economy.
